However, please note that our weaving projects can take up to 6 months to be completed. However, the sooner we get all these information that you will supply, the quicker things will move on. Please answer the questions below and feel free to supply your own answers as well
Revealing our Tri-illusion is a thrilling moment for us, this design took us back to our love of mathematical theorems like the Pythagoras. We have been asked several times to release designs based on our scientific backgrounds and we are so pleased to be able to work with our talented textile designer on this particular design.
The design takes the simple triangle and transforms it into a complex visual object with the repetition of the triangles across the wrap to generate an interesting moving illusion. The symmetrical relationship between the self-replicating triangles echoes the beauty of mathematical measurements that allow for the triangles to be recreated with such accuracy on the wrap. Most importantly, we hope this design will lead to educative conversations in your home surrounding shape and the elegance of mathematics. In this interview series below, you get to learn more about the 3 amazing women behind our #carrymyjoy chronicles. Our #carrymyjoy chronicles is our customer focused initiative which we started late last year to showcase how our families enjoy their Joy&Joe baby wraps carriers on a typical day via vlogs(video vlogs). Our carrymyjoy vlogs are fun, engaging and enlightening. Please click here to watch all their vlogs all on one page. Meet ALIQ1: Can you please tell us about how you discovered babywearing I'm a very active person and living in rural wales there are lots hills, and uneven terrain. I always knew that a buggy wasn't going to work for us, so started looking at alternative methods of infant transportation, which is when I stumbled upon Babywearing, and never looked back. Q2: What do you love most about babywearing your child/children and what challenges did you face while babywearing My favourite part of babywearing is the community. I have made so many friends, lots whom I know will become lifelong friends. They have been with me through ups and downs, sad times and happy ones, and have really become my second family. It was our love of babywearing that brought us all together, but even though our slinging days our growing shorter, we are closer than ever before. Q3: So tell us about when you started vlogging? A friend of mine persuaded me to enter, I didn't think I'd be any good, or have the time, but it's been much simpler than I thought it would be. Q4: What is your favourite vlog so far of all the #carrrmyjoy vlogs you've done? I love my 5th vlog (https://youtu.be/WjUCGL_8uq8) which was a quick ruck filmed from the floor. It shows how quick and simple wrapping can be. I also love my second vlog (https://youtu.be/BeIsImrZPY0) which has really hardly any babywearing in it at all! Q5: For people looking to join the #carrymyjoy vlogging network. What advice do you have for them? Go for it! It's a fab opportunity and a lot of fun. The vlogs really don't have to be fancy, basic video editing apps on a smart phone is the limit of my capabilities, so what ever you produce will be better than anything I've made. Q5: What advice do you have for parents considering babywearing? I'd suggest finding your local sling meet or library. A sling library is a fantastic resource where parents and carers can see and try out a wide variety of slings and carriers to find the one that works best for them. Q6: Of all the Joy&Joe wraps that you've worn, which is your favourite? I love the new signature weave, and the design and feel of the Fountain of Love wraps, but my heart belongs to a J&J original, my lambswool Maxi-Roses OOAK. Q7: Any other thing you would like us to know about you? I'm a babywearing consultant who covers the majority of Mid-Wales, and I run the sling meet and library in Aberystwyth. I've also trained will all 3 of the UK babywearing schools (Slingababy, Trageschule and School of Babywearing) and I'm BABI registered. Meet JodieQ1: Can you please tell us how you discovered babywearing A friend that I met in an antenatal class introduced me to it. Q2: What do you love most about babywearing your child/children and what challenges did you face while babywearing I love having her so close. I was unable to breastfeed and found that wearing her helped me bond with her. She had pretty horrendous reflux which meant often we'd both be covered in sick when wearing, but we powered through. This is why I have lots of carriers! Q3: So tell us about when you started vlogging? I was still fairly new to babywearing, my husband had bought me a Joy and Joe Luceo Non Uro wrap and I saw the ad for vloggers on Joy and Joe's page. I entered and it went from there! Q4: What is your favourite vlog so far of all the #carrrmyjoy vlogs you've done? Hmm... probably the one where Sam (my husband) was recording and fell over his own feet! Q5: For people looking to join the #carrymyjoy vlogging network. What advice do you have for them? When recording, don't flip between landscape and portrait! I always forget this. Q5: What advice do you have for parents considering babywearing? There are tons of different carriers,so if the one you have tried isn't working for don't give up! Try and find a local sling library and get yourself along to a meet - the librarian will be able to help you find something that works. Q6: Of all the Joy&Joe wraps that you've worn, which is your favourite? Mine is Luceo Non Uro,I love the pattern, and the significance behind it. Q7: Any other thing you would like us to know about you? I don't know what I'm going to do with myself when I've stopped babywearing! Meet LeylaQ1: Can you please tell us how you discovered babywearing I discovered about babywearing on facebook mother groups. Then I joined a babywearing group and learned about the right ways to baby wear. Q2: What do you love most about babywearing your child/children and what challenges did you face while babywearing Danny was a very fussy baby, without the baby wrap he would cry most of the time. At 2 months old we found out that he had hidden reflux and dairy allergy, babywearing helped with the reflux, because being upright was more comfortable for him, the crying became a lot less since I stopped consuming dairy products. I think the biggest challenges were how to react on negative comments when I was wearing Danny. I always responded with some reply telling that Danny loves it very much and it is much more cozy then using a stroller. Q3: So tell us about when you started vlogging? I started my Youtube channel in 2006, mostly I posted random stuff, at some point I got fascinated by Japan and in 2012 I made daily vlogs during one of my trips to Japan, I have been there 7 times. November 2014 I started making weekly vlogs about our live with a child, I am now at vlog no. 43. www.youtube.com/leylafashion Q4: What is your favourite vlog so far of all the #carrrmyjoy vlogs you've done? (I have made this playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist... ) I think this video is my favorite #carrymyjoy videohttps://youtu.be/OPi0iM0me7o... I love the woods and this wrap matches it so perfectly! Q5: For people looking to join the #carrymyjoy vlogging network. What advice do you have for them? Sometimes it might be a bit hard to find new subject to film, but try to see what lives in the babywearing community. For instance, I saw some mama’s asking for a ruck tying video, since they love to see it from someone they know, so this is the next video on my to-do-list. Q5: What advice do you have for parents considering babywearing? Take your time with learning how to tie, don’t be afraid to ask help online or in real life! Other mama’s are happy to help you out, we all were beginners once! Q6: Of all the Joy&Joe wraps that you've worn, which is your favourite? Fountain of love, black x white was my favorite Joy & Joe wrap that I have tried. It is so pretty and soft and luxurious! Q7: Any other thing you would like us to know about you? My passion is all over the place, that is why I make a lot of different video’s on my Youtube channel. From Fashion, to make-up, to cooking to babywearing! It might seem confusing, but that is just all that I love In addition to our new teaching wrap that is currently travelling from one library to the other, we now have a new incentive to show our support for sling libraries. Joy and Joe is giving an attractive 10 points to sling libraries/groups/consultants/advocates of babywearing for every Joy&Joe woven wrap order by their members. Sling libraries/groups/consultants will have to complete an application form below and we will email you your unique code (this code will be specific for your library/group) This unique code can be passed on to your members. At our website checkout, each sling library member will need to enter this code to activate their own 10% discount. Here is a simple explanation of how it works. For every woven wrap or ring sling ordered by a member of your sling library or babywearing group, 10 points is given to your library/group and your member will also get a 10% discount on his/her order. This is a two-way incentive. Your member gets 10% discount and your sling library also gets 10 points. Your library/group can accrue their point until it reaches 100 points and they will automatically get a woven wrap from our latest innocence collection. An email will be sent to the library/group/consultant to notify them of their points scored when their code is used on our website (at the end of every week). That way you will know how much you have accrued in real-time. You can also retain your accrued points for as long as you want. Q&A Q. Why is Joy and Joe giving this incentive to Sling libraries/groups/consultants? A. Joy and Joe believes that Sling library, babywearing groups, babywearing consultants are playing an active role in helping families and spreading the joys of babywearing. This incentive will help both the member and the library/group to own a Joy and Joe Wrap thereby giving you a chance to taste our latest luxury weave. Q. How long does this last for? A. The initial trial is for 12 months. After 12 months, we will review it and then decide to either continue or discontinue this incentive Q. Can any sling library/group/consultant apply? A. Yes this offer is open worldwide. Your library or group will need to complete the form below and if successful we will give your library/group our incentive's unique code number that will need to pass on to your members to help you gain points and also help them earn a 10% discount on their orders. Q. What are the criteria for application A. You must be an active babywearing sling library/ group/ consultant. Ideally, you should have a facebook presence for verification purpose. You should have a nominated head of the group or a contact person. Q. How long does the application process takes A. We usually aim to process every application as soon as possible usually within a week. Q. Can this code be used on Joy and Joe wraps purchase from retailers A. No. Your code can only be used on wraps purchased directly from the Joy and Joe website. Are you very creative, fun (yes, we mean you have to have a good sense of humor) and diligent? Our new designs have something in common, they have our initials 'JJ' intricately woven into each design randomly. Without further ado, please meet our new designs 1: Fluffy shades of feathers Inspired by a beautiful Alexander McQueen’s dress worn by FKA Twigs on the red carpet, we created the FLUFFY SHADES OF FEATHERS wrap design with our own personal twist on the iconic design. A close look at this design reveals the subtle layering of the feathers in a way that mirrors the natural arrangement of scales on a fish. Feathers are without doubt one of nature’s wonders, having evolved from scales, they can be found in birds around us. We admire how incredibly strong and flexible feathers are and the role they play in supporting the movement of various species. In birds, feathers aid both lift and forward movement. Therefore, adopting this theme of movement from feathers, our wrap features overlapping feathers created using a mix of two weaves, one weave is deliberately more textured than the other to improve the adaptability and movement that the wrap allows. For extra charm, the edges of the wrap have also been softened in order to support a more realistic featherlike feel. Our wrap design adopts a two colour shading technique, which adds rhythm and a calming contrast to the design. The contrast results in a well spaced out pattern across the wrap. Feather and scales are naturally protective covering for birds and fishes respectively and we love that our design encapsulates the protective and loving covering that parents wrap their children with. In this new design and the others, we love that we are able to utilize our wide scientific knowledge of zoology fused with our playful penchant for art to create wraps that truly celebrate the protective and caring characteristics of a mother. Metric Simplicity The Metric simplicity design stems right out of our immediate environment, as wrap enthusiasts, tapes and measurement are a part of our daily creative process and this design takes a piece of our environment and conveys it to you, our loyal customers. As mothers, measuring tapes find a place in our life at one point or another; it could be the measurement of our pregnant bellies before birth or the continuous measurements of children’s height and weight to keep an eye on how quickly they are growing. These measurements form the intimate details of the precious moments you have with your child. Therefore, with the metric design, we want to recall your encounters with the measuring tape and how that has aided your connection with the child. We aim to cultivate these precious experiences further with our Metric Simplicity wrap. Blend: 50% Italian cotton+50% combed cotton Width: 27 inches approx. Our new wraps are so beautiful that you need to see them for yourself to appreciate their high quality and beauty. Pulls happen when sharp objects such as long finger nails, jewelries or any other object around you pick the yarns on your woven wrap. The list is actually endless in terms of how pulls can happen. We observed that some people are worried about the safety of use of their woven wrap when a pull occurs. A woven cloth is created by the interlacing of series of yarn threads according to the style of structure required so the yarns are not glued into the place but interlaced so pulls can occur. The tighter the weave, the less prone they will be to pulls. You will find that our past SMPs are less prone to pulls but the downside to them is that their weave being tighter needed more breaking in. We want you to enjoy your woven wraps so we have created a looser weave as seen in our FOL and new SMP that will not need any inch of breaking in. We understand that loose weaves are generally prone to pulls especially if care is not taken so we've prepared for this by doubling up the structure of our weave so all our weaves are double/bonded weaves. So think of our double weaves as a weave structure with extra backing. We have also decreased the length of each floating yarn and adjusted the picks of our weave structure to ensure that when a pull occurs, they will not spread to other parts of the wrap easily. We have also added a complex structure where there are stitches at several intervals in your cloth. However, despite all we've put in place if a sharp nail picks your wrap, a pull is likely to happen because the movement of the yarns are essentially part of what makes your wrap a woven cloth. So many processes have been put in place to produce what you have as your woven wrap sling so a pull is not enough to damage your wrap. We now source our yarns directly from the spinners so that we have control over the exact strength, quality and weight of our yarns. The loom dedicated to weaving our woven wraps is not used for weaving any other style of cloth so this ensures that the exact calibrations needed to produce a carrying cloth with the right tensile strength is adhered to across all our wraps irrespective of the design. Our weavers themselves are one of the very best in the United Kingdom. They have a worldwide reputation for weaving the finest quality English cloth. Hence, they have gained a global standing as a symbol of perpetual British quality. We are proud to work with our team of textile experts. They have years of experience in the weaving of fine and intricate fabrics. They are committed to quality control, in each weaving process. The entire weaving process from warping to the actual weaving is done in-house and the entire process is carefully monitored via frequent built-in checks. The finishing of our wraps is done in Yorkshire where an environmentally safe finishing process uses pure steam only, employing no chemical additives. In addition, rigorous tests for fabric strength, pilling and fire retardancy are carried in the company's laboratory. Our woven wraps combines great strength with a lightness of weight (despite being a double cloth), and is woven in such a manner as to render it porous, making it both cool and pleasant to wear. They are woven in such a way that air can pass freely, facilitating ventilation and ensuring comfort in the warmer climates. The porous nature of this range provides an outlet for heat to be wicked off from the body. The quality of our wraps makes them even suitable for wearing all year round giving our signature and innocence collection an unmistakable touch of luxurious elegance woven in comfort. The complexity of the structure of our weave and all that we've put in place ensures that pulls cannot and never impact on the integrity of the weave structure. It would take a massive damage like a large puncture cutting though the weight bearing section of your wrap for your wrap to be considered unsafe to wear for babywearing. The fact that our newest weaves are super soft doesn't means that they are fragile in any way. We particularly invested our resources into hiring the expert textile technicians to develop this weave alongside our own years of baby wrap retail experience and babywearing consultancy knowledge. Well, now that you know how more about pulls and that they do not make a wrap unsafe to use. How about how to fix them? Here's our tips:
Our advice is that you shouldn't worry too much about pulls especially after you've fixed them because your wrap need to be worn, washed and used for the fibres to get more and more settled. So putting your wrap away after noticing a pull will only rob you of the happiness you can derive from enjoying this amazing weave that we've taken our time to create for you and your little one. So have you fixed any pulls on your J&J wrap using any other method that we've not mentioned? why not share it with us. The best discussions certainly happen in the comment section and we look forward to your comments As part of our commitment to supporting sling libraries, we have been planning a teaching wrap for a while now. As plans for this has been on for close to a year, we almost abandoned this project as we just couldn't conclude on the design that will give us a clear differentiated rails that we really dreamt of. So a discussion about our new FOL wraps with Ali then shifted into the idea of teaching wrap and her tenacity for a high quality teaching wrap rekindled the desire in our hears to create a really luxurious teaching wrap. We don't feel that teaching wraps have to be all low quality because they are loaned out for a small fee. So we have invested our resources into procuring enough high quality yarns that can weave many teaching wraps for UK libraries and we have also secured a modern loom that is dedicated to specifically weaving our woven wraps. This mean that you can be rest assured that our weaving will be more consistent and superior in quality. At this stage, we have only woven 3 tester teaching wraps so the canvas is quite blank as we will be weaving the final teaching wraps based on the feedback we receive from the UK sling librarians. We have had our midnight rainbow and FOL wraps tested by groups in Romania, France, Hungary, Czech Republic, Sweden, Italy, Australia and the US. So we are going to focus on the UK sling libraries for now for the ease of coordinating the travelling of the tester teaching wraps. Our next stop is the US babywearing groups as we've had many inquiries from many groups there. Features of our current tester teaching wrap Woolen weave structure so they are really super-soft They don't need any breaking in at all and this is all down to their luxurious yarns, style of weaving and extra finishing They are not too wide nor too narrow, so easy to wrap with Customized with our Joy&Joe text woven into one side if its rails We will be offering only one size (large) so that new babywearers learning to wrap with it won't have to worry about variety of sizes. We feel that the large size is a reasonable base size for most body sizes. However, we can produce custom sizes on request. They are not prone to pulls as we specifically developed this new weave for our teaching wraps Woven to simulate the cushiness of wool yet they are composed of 100% cotton yarns so easy to wash As a double weave, the reverse of the wrap adds another character to the wraps as each faces takes on the weft colour of the stripes on the right sides. However, both sides are completely wearable The design is quite simplistic yet bright, playful and fun. Kids will love this too! Our teaching wrap also has wide stripes which runs vertically through the entire wrap with alternating colours This makes it easy for parents to learn new carries with our new teaching wrap. Please note that any of these features can be tweaked or improved in our final weaving run for our teaching wraps which is why your feedback is very vital to us in this process. The Plan Currently, our two teaching wrap testers will be travelling from one library to another and you can find the route of this travel in a document compiled by Ali in the J&J library tester tour facebook group. The travelling has been kindly kick-started by Ali of Cariad babywearing who has been testing the happy faces for a while now and it's great to see that it's been put to good use so far. The long term plan is to offer our teaching wraps to sling libraries at an affordable rate of £60 (could be more or less) although the value of the wrap is actually triple that. Libraries will not be able to sell this wrap on but they get a refund of their £60 whenever they return the wrap in good condition so that the wrap can be passed over to enable another library. The final design will be specific for sling libraries so that it will be easy to trace it on the second hand market if anybody sells it against the guidelines, as we want to make it purely a teaching wrap and not for profit. Many thanks to the lovely Ali C. of Cariad Babywearing for these beautiful seaside action photos of our new teaching wrap (http://cariadbabywearing.com/)

Thank you to everyone who suggested some cool names for our fountain of love wraps. Most of your name suggestions were really nice, so it wasn't easy making a choice. Well, we had to do this, so we scaled down the names to a few of the suggestions that stood out to us. Please help us make the final choice by voting below. Thank you Jodie Hirst Fountains of Love is also the name of a beautiful French painting, so how about very simply using the French names of the colours? So you'd have Jaune, Noir, and Rosé. The uniqueness of the fountain of love comes from not just the its elegant brocade design but from the collaborative efforts of our expert team consisting of textile designers and engineers, scientists and babywearing consultants who have been working behind closed doors since last year to create this unique weave never been seen before in the babywearing industry. Brocade designs are mostly special occasion textiles and they exude this intriguing baroque romance fashion style.
The fountain of love woven wraps are kitten belly soft! Despite the softness, floppiness and cushiness of the weave, the double structure of the weave gives the fountain of love added durability. Some of the key features of the fountain of love are its extremely soft handle, fluidity and drape.
The embroidered feel to the texture of this wrap comes from the expert way the looms have been altered to create this unique textile effect. We wanted to create a wrap that will not need any breaking in and we now have the secret recipe!
The looms we used for the fountain of love is designed to weave a limited number of wraps at a time. We currently have 6 prototypes (2 wraps in each colours) and testing is currently ongoing.
Around the second week in June, we will be releasing more colourways in addition to the current colourways of the fountain of love woven wrap and they will be sold by draw due to their limited quantities. Our current prototypes will be sold via draw after the testing/travelling process is complete.

Our heritage collection is a lavish collection featuring two of our all time favorite designs, the kente and the shiver me paisleys, all woven on our antique loom using super indulgent yarns and blends some of which are new to Jo&Joe like the silk blend wrap in this collection. For those new to the SMPS, The shiver me paisleys design is a strikingly beautiful cornucopia of paisleys and sugar skulls ornamented with some artistic fine details all intricately woven. The artist of the SMP artwork is Mr. LeeBernie (Babywearing dad). The kente is a stunning geometric pattern historically worn by royals in Ghana and it has now gained an amazing popularity all over the fashion world. We chose the name 'heritage' for this collection because the double weave used in this collection was one of our very first weave approximately 3 years ago and the old hattersley loom used in weaving these wraps is historically a significant aspect of British weaving/ textile heritage. With the approaching retirement of our elderly weaver and the emergence of our fountain of love wraps (soon to be released), these original double weave wraps were woven in very limited quantities (2/4) and are set to become history for us at Joy&Joe limited. These wraps are woven as a special one off and only in size 6 (XL, 4.6m) each So we present to you, our heritage collection of woven wraps. Enjoy 1. HONEY BONINGTON 25% Bamboo , 10% mulberry silk and 65% Combed Cotton Price: £265 exclusive of P&P (P&P cost typically depends your address) Compared to our tussah silk SMP, the honey bonington SMP is lighter in hand and significantly softer in texture. The bamboo adds a moderate amount of stretch and bounce to this wrap and its combed cotton content gives it an elegant drape when worn. As with our original weaves and all the wraps in the heritage collection, the honey bonington has no odd sides so both sides of this wrap can be worn facing out. Perfect for newborn babies and due to its weave structure, it is suitable for heavy toddlers as well especially with a multi-layer carry. Very floppy straight out of the box, this wrap doesn't need any breaking in. 2. Pastel RAF BLUE10% Irish linen, 10% cashmere, 80% combed cotton Price: £245 exclusive of P&P The pastel RAF blue SMP has a relaxed look due to its pastel RAF blue weft. Due to its minimalistic appearance, the overall appearance of this wrap can vary depending on the amount of light intensity it is exposed to. As you can imagine, it was difficult to capture the RAF blue colour in this wrap because it looked like a grey or light green colourway in some shots. The Irish linen and cashmere content makes this wrap lighter in hand yet it is strong enough for your babies no matter the age 3. Tulip Moor25% natural cashmere, 25% linen, 50% Combed Cotton Price: £235 exclusive of P&P (only 2 available) The Tulip moor is breathable and strong, perfect for the coming season with the advantage of its Irish linen content. Due to the extra steam finishing and its cashmere and combed cotton content, this wrap is very mouldable and it will get even fluffier with more gentle washing. 4. Carob Mapperly25% Irish Linen, 75% cotton Price: £225 exclusive of P&P (only 2 wraps available) The Carob Mapperly is breathable and strong, perfect for the coming season with the advantage of its irish linen content. Due to the extra steam finishing and its combed cotton content, this wrap is very mouldable and it will get even fluffier with more washing and steam ironing 5. Olivia luxeThis is the top of this range and it is a special triblend consisting of 35% tussah silk, 10% natural cashmere and 55% combed cotton Price: £320 exclusive of P&P This wrap has the distinctive light toned honey colour reminiscent of its tussah content. It is also significantly textured as tussah silk is thicker and stronger compared to mulberry silk. Despite the mix of cashmere, the significant silk content gives this wrap a slightly heavy handle to start with hence this wrap is recommended only for experienced babywearers. Also not recommended for carrying younger babies due to its loomstate thickness. With time and use, the characteristic rough tussah texture should subside as the yarns settle a lot more. Please note that this unusual texture adds to the quirkiness of this wrap and isn't considered a flaw. Pricing has been done to account for cost of sourcing these luxury yarns and the weaving workmanship amidst other high production expenses used in this collection. 6. Margaret Luke25% Bamboo, 75% Combed Cotton Price: £225 exclusive of P&P Suitable for babies and toddlers. As with our bamboo blends, the style of weaving specifically for the heritage collection gives these wraps added durability. So don't worry about carrying your heavy toddler in this bamboo blend and as you expect, it is perfect for newborn babies due to its amazing cush. This wrap requires minimal or no breaking in and you can wear it straight out of its box. The combination of the bamboo and combed cotton gives this wrap a fantastic drape and handle when worn 7. Habenero spice 25% Irish linen, 75% combed cotton Price: £225 exclusive of P&P The linen being a natural vegetable fiber adds a good amount of elasticity to the Hebenero spice SMP and its combed cotton content gives it a nice drape when worn . As with our original weaves and all the wraps in the heritage collection, the Hebenero spice has no odd sides so both sides of this wrap can be worn facing out. You will notice that this particular wrap has a distinctive natural crisp feel to its texture especially as it is freshly woven , this linen texture will even out over time as your wear, wash and iron your wrap. 8. FRANCESCA ULSTER 25% cashmere, 10% bamboo, 65% combed cotton Price: £225 exclusive of P&P The bamboo adds a moderate amount of stretch and bounce to the Fransesca Ulster and its combed cotton content gives it a good amount of drape when worn . As with our original weaves and all the wraps in the heritage collection, this wrap has no odd sides so both sides of this wrap can be worn facing out. The high quantity of barley white yarns has toned down the bottle green colour giving this wrap a relaxed opulent appearance We are absolutely pleased to finally introduce you to our new ' King of the birds' woven wrap. Watch video featuring our 'KOB' woven wrap by Wrap you in love Post by Wrap you in love. King of the birds (KOB) Chrysaetos is the brown weft colour way of our new Eagle/Celtic fusion design woven and the KOB Verreauxii is the black weft version. Both woven on a vibrant peacock turquoise warp. Like our other sateen weaves, the KOB has a lustrous right side and a textured feel to the odd side. However, both sides are completely wearable. These colours give the front and back side of this wrap a distinct contrast as shown in our photos. The KOB is a fashionable artistic design of a brown/black eagle in two different flight forms mounted on a magnificent Celtic background to exude this enchanting appearance. The name ‘Chrysaetos’ for our brown weft KOB wrap was inspired by the majestic appearance of the golden eagle and the term ‘Verreauxii’ is the specie name of the black eagle. The eagle is naturally gifted with unique hunting prowess hence it is highly regarded with great mystic reverence in some ancient cultures around the world. Native and biblical wisdom also honours the eagle for its powerful characteristics. The eagle is the ruler of the skies and as the king of the birds; the eagle's message of mental acuity is super-dominant. Artist of the KOB: Chloe of Paintpots & Weasels Proudly woven, sewn and packaged here in the United Kingdom Width: 26 inches approximately Mid-weight (255gsm)
