New stretchy wrap versus old stretchy wrap

In case you missed our facebook post a while ago introducing our new stretchy wrap carriers, here’s how our new stretchy wraps compare old stretchy wrap carrier.

It is worth mentioning that our old stretchy wraps are still perfect for those who already own them but our new stretchy wrap improved upon the qualities that we love in our old stretchy wraps.

So here are a few points:

1.       Our new stretchy wraps are softer and more velvety to touch. This is due to the fact the cotton interlock in the new stretchy wrap are of a higher grade and this is very evident from the first time you even attempt t wrap with it.

2.       Our new stretchy wraps are wider than our old stretchy wrap and this provides a even comfier seat for your baby when babywearing

3.       The weight limit and compliance to the UK/EU requirements  is still the same and we have documents available on request for anyone looking to inquire. Please email to info@joyandjoebaby.co.uk

4.       The length of our new stretchy wraps  is also  slightly more than that of our old ones making them even more suitable for plus size mums

5.       Sagging of your stretchy wrap even after a few months of constant wearing  is now a thing of the past and we’re so happy to have advanced in this area

6.       The colour options are more limited compared to that of our old stretchy wraps. In our new stretchy wrap collection, we only have black, turquoise, red and fuchsia for now. Many more colours will be added with time.

7.       Same integrated pocket design that allows you to store your  wrap in a compact, practical style especially when you’re on the move

Why not give our new stretchy wraps a try today for you to enjoy the benefits of a very premium quality stretchy wrap that you and your baby will love. We are 100% confident that you will love it and.

For this festive period only, use code XM2013 and you get a fantastic 10% off the cost price along with a free pair of festive winter leg warmers for your little one.  40% discount is available for sling libraries and babywearing consultants please email us at info@joyandjoebaby.co.uk for your discount code if you run a library.

Thank you.

A review of the new and improved maxi-roses woven wrap by Jane of  www.pixiemama.com.au

This wrap does not require any breaking in.

I’m Jane and I own PixieMama the online Australian based store and I am excited to be stocking Joe and Joe’s Maxi Roses wraps as part of the range of woven wraps I have. Here I have done a review of the blue weft maxi roses with linen.

I decided to keep blue linen maxi roses for my own use, when I first took it out of the bag I was shocked… It was far too soft to be a linen blend.

I actually contacted Joy and Joe and told them I think you sent the wrong wraps are they really linen? They responded that no it is a 30% linen/cotton mix and they have been working particularly hard to create a super soft linen blend and my goodness that have done a great job. Soft and floppy is an understatement, Joy and Joe have used top grade linen and the wraps have been treated with stream to make them so soft. This wrap does not require any breaking in.

It is light weight wrap with an open and airy weave making is perfect for our hot Australian summers, It is easy to wrap with and the passes slide nicely in a double hammock while still having enough grip to stick where I put them, the wrap holds a slip knot well. It is very mouldable and easy to tighten all the passes, the wrap has a nice amount of diagonal stretch due to the open weave making it quite bouncy on my shoulders, like having shock absorbers in a wrap. I am comfortable wearing my 13.5kg toddler in the wrap in multi layers and it would be perfect for a small baby or newborn.
In conclusion I am very impressed and excited to be working with Joy and Joe, this is an amazing wrap that is unlike anything on the market already and I highly recommend it.

A review of the Blackberry ripple woven wrap by Abbie Kennedy

Abbie Kennedy is the sling Librarian in  charge of the South Cheshire baby-wearer group, UK

I've had the pleasure of dealing with Joy & Joe Baby a couple of times, and I've always been very impressed with the professional, friendly and helpful service.  My sling library has a stretchy wrap kindly donated by Joy & Joe Baby and we recently hosted the travelling Blackberry Ripple Woven Wrap.

It arrived in its own cloth bag, a fabulous bright yellow bag, with an instruction manual and size chart.  First impressions were positive, it had the same blankety goodness that older Girasols are famous for.  I was keen to try it out, and it came with us on a couple of Christmas Expeditions.  I used it with both my youngest (17 months) and oldest (4.5 years) and it passed the test!

This wrap is soft and solid.  Medium thickness, it has a blankety quality.  It doesn't feel at all delicate, it is a flat weave but not too slippy.  The edges and tapers are professionally finished.  This is a fabulous workhorse wrap, it'd be well suited to life in the car - hardy and ready for any job you might ask.  It doesn't feel precious, it feels like something to be well loved and well used.

It wrapped well, and felt supportive even for my biggest.  The right amount of grippiness, it felt solid when wrapped.  The extra width (78cm) makes it a great wrap for bigger kids.

Several local ladies tried this wrap at our sling meets, and all really enjoyed using it.

I really enjoying hosting Blackberry Ripple, and hopefully will be able to try more Joy & Joe wraps in future!
Thank you so much Abbie for the review of the blackberry ripple woven wrap- Joy&Joe ltd
