This wrap does not require any breaking in. I’m Jane and I own PixieMama the online Australian based store and I am excited to be stocking Joe and Joe’s Maxi Roses wraps as part of the range of woven wraps I have. Here I have done a review of the blue weft maxi roses with linen. I decided to keep blue linen maxi roses for my own use, when I first took it out of the bag I was shocked… It was far too soft to be a linen blend. I actually contacted Joy and Joe and told them I think you sent the wrong wraps are they really linen? They responded that no it is a 30% linen/cotton mix and they have been working particularly hard to create a super soft linen blend and my goodness that have done a great job. Soft and floppy is an understatement, Joy and Joe have used top grade linen and the wraps have been treated with stream to make them so soft. This wrap does not require any breaking in. It is light weight wrap with an open and airy weave making is perfect for our hot Australian summers, It is easy to wrap with and the passes slide nicely in a double hammock while still having enough grip to stick where I put them, the wrap holds a slip knot well. It is very mouldable and easy to tighten all the passes, the wrap has a nice amount of diagonal stretch due to the open weave making it quite bouncy on my shoulders, like having shock absorbers in a wrap. I am comfortable wearing my 13.5kg toddler in the wrap in multi layers and it would be perfect for a small baby or newborn. In conclusion I am very impressed and excited to be working with Joy and Joe, this is an amazing wrap that is unlike anything on the market already and I highly recommend it. www.pixiemama.com.au
