I found that using the wrap was as practical around the house as using it out and about! I've actually been able to get a lot done as I'm not having to carry Xander around it my arms! Brilliant! ~ Amy, mum to Xander

The Joy & Joe stretchy baby wrap is a very comfortable sling; with dimensions of 5 metres by 20 cm I found it both long & wide enough to wrap easily and comfortably. Lydia was extremely cosy and happy in the sling, and falls asleep in it frequently. I’ve walked a good few miles at once with Lydia in the sling and I found it absolutely fine ~ Zoe, mum to Lydia

The baby wraps are really comfy and surprisingly don't put any strain on your back. I regularly walk to our local town and back with Thomas in the wrap. Baby wearing is also SO much easier than lugging your pram with you if you just need to quickly pop somewhere ~ Sarah, mum to Thomas

I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and supportive the wrap is.  I really didn't expect this, I didn't see how one piece of frankly stretchy material could be supportive, but it really is if you tie it properly.  Felix was comfy as well and fell asleep happily~ Alex Bridger, mum to Felix

With baby boy in place, I felt very comfortable and I'm sure he did too, if his gentle snoring sounds were anything to go by! I didn't feel any strain and his weight was well distributed between my shoulders and my back, thanks to the way the wrap is positioned around your body. It didn't feel tight to wear but at the same time, I felt confident he was safe and secure. In addition, the cotton fabric meant it was cool to wear even in the 30 degree heat~ Amy, mum to Ethan

The wrap felt really secure and safe and Summer was held very snugly in it. It was really comfortable to wear and didn't hurt my back at all. I'm surprised how much I loved the baby wrap carrier as I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not but I can honestly say I'm a total convert and will be using my baby wrap lots from now on! For my first attempt I think I may have had Summer a little too high but at least it meant I could kiss her all the time lol

When put on correctly my baby felt really secure. I took several walks and he remained in the same position and the wrap itself still felt tight. Providing you don't need to bend over the wrap is great to use at home for doing chores. He loved the closeness to me & often fell asleep in minutes. It’s been a life saver on days where he hasn't wanted to be put down meaning I can actually do other things as well as look after him. The wrap keeps baby lovely& snug but isn't even shower proof. When going out I needed to wear my husband’s coat which I could do up around the wrap. Excellent value for money as you get so much use out of it. One week I used it at least once a day! I will continue to use this. It is excellent value for money~ Lara Rippon, mum to William 11 Weeks

I FWCC'd my 11kg toddler comfortably and found this quite easy to wrap in a double hammock- not grippy enough to make passes difficult, but certainly thick enough for comfortable ruck straps. It's 80cms wide so certainly enough for toddler wrapping.

This one was a shorter version – a bit too short for me to wrap with and a tiny bit too long for a no sew ring sling but it’s very wide, extremely supportive and very very grippy. It’ll wrap a dream once it softens up with use. I found it very similar to a thick Girasol, one of my favourite wrap brands. So it was very easy for me to love.

Overall, we can highly recommend Joy and Joe’s…..they really are a wrappers paradise!

This pretty wrap is nice and floppy and soft to the touch, sturdy and strong and would be a great workhorse wrap. It reminds me a little of the older, thicker Hopps (like old red), and may be a solution for those who find the newer, thinner Girasols not quite supportive enough in single layers. It is tough, so will last long, does not need to be treated with kid gloves, is clearly up to frequent washing, so many people will find this an excellent, more-affordable option for babywearing.

For the pre-order they picked a linen blend. I think it would be perfect for heavier children. A nice shorty for summer!
This tester was pretty supportive, I used it in a RRRR with my toddler and it did a great job. (with my toddler ) I wouldn’t pick this all cotton shorty for a long walk, I think a longer wrap would be better in this blend, for her (so I can do a double hammock or a 3-layer carry). I personally prefer wider wraps with at least 68cm+, this wrap measures 65cm. I have to admit I didn’t notice it when wrapping, which means it doesn’t feel more narrow than my favorite wraps  I’ve only measured it now for the review and it surprised me!

I've had the pleasure of dealing with Joy & Joe Baby a couple of times, and I've always been very impressed with the professional, friendly and helpful service.  My sling library has a stretchy wrap kindly donated by Joy & Joe Baby and we recently hosted the travelling Blackberry Ripple Woven Wrap.

It arrived in its own cloth bag, a fabulous bright yellow bag, with an instruction manual and size chart.  First impressions were positive, it had the same blankety goodness that older Girasols are famous for.  I was keen to try it out, and it came with us on a couple of Christmas Expeditions.  I used it with both my youngest (17 months) and oldest (4.5 years) and it passed the test!

This wrap is soft and solid.  Medium thickness, it has a blankety quality.  It doesn't feel at all delicate, it is a flat weave but not too slippy.  The edges and tapers are professionally finished.  This is a fabulous workhorse wrap, it'd be well suited to life in the car - hardy and ready for any job you might ask.  It doesn't feel precious, it feels like something to be well loved and well used.

It wrapped well, and felt supportive even for my biggest.  The right amount of grippiness, it felt solid when wrapped.  The extra width (78cm) makes it a great wrap for bigger kids.

Several local ladies tried this wrap at our sling meets, and all really enjoyed using it.

I really enjoying hosting Blackberry Ripple, and hopefully will be able to try more Joy & Joe wraps in future!

It is light weight wrap with an open and airy weave making is perfect for our hot Australian summers, It is easy to wrap with and the passes slide nicely in a double hammock while still having enough grip to stick where I put them, the wrap holds a slip knot well. It is very mouldable and easy to tighten all the passes, the wrap has a nice amount of diagonal stretch due to the open weave making it quite bouncy on my shoulders, like having shock absorbers in a wrap. I am comfortable wearing my 13.5kg toddler in the wrap in multi layers and it would be perfect for a small baby or newborn.
