THE SEARCH FOR OUR 2017 AMBASSADORS IS ON!

Morning! How are you? I’ve managed to get some time on the computer so figured I’d do a wee blog for you! If you’ve been on The Joy and Joe Wraps chatter page (whether you are a lurker or an active poster) you’ll have seen our Ambassadors playing games, starting conversations, offering advice and spamming the ever loving heck out of their wraps! Have you looked at what they do and thought “I could totally do that?” or “I really fancy having a go at doing that?”?
Good News! Now is YOUR chance! If you want to do their job then we are now taking APPLICATIONS for the 2017 Ambassadors!!
So how do you apply I hear you shout!!

Application form

​Here’s the essential check list for you to tick off to see if you are Ambassador worthy!

• You must not have official affiliation with any other sling brand (so not representing any other sling brand)
• Must have an ACTIVE Instagram account.
• Submit a short video detailing why you should be accepted – please send it to us or tag us in the video so we can watch it! (no longer than 3 minutes please!)
• Be a member (or willing to be) on the chatter page!
• Be involved with a local sling library (attend, volunteer or even run one!)
• Be socially active on facebook and Instagram (we’d like to know the groups you are on and where you post regularly.)
• Be enthusiastic, creative, passionate, honest and empathetic.
• Be a CURRENT babywearer or be interested in becoming a wrapper!
• Have the time and energy to be able to commit to the role.
• You DO NOT have to own a Joy and Joe wrap (or have ever heard of us before to apply!)
• If you applied for the role last time please feel free to APPLY AGAIN!
• CLOSING DATE IS 1ST NOVEMBER 2016

If you answered YES! to all of those, then GREAT! check out what you will be doing as an 2017 Ambassador :

• Posting on the chatter page regularly. (time frame to be decided)
• Posting on your personal/ambassador created Instagram/twitter/facebook page regularly. (time frame to be decided)
• Performing facebook live broadcasts monthly.
• Taking Joy and Joe wraps to sling meets for others to try.
• Promoting the brand on facebook groups (according to group rules).
• Providing help and advice to members of the chatter page.
• To share competitions/posts/events across facebook/instagram/twitter.
• To create and share videos.
• To create and share photographs.
• To help create content for the chatter page that will encourage people to talk.
• Promoting Joy and Joe at sling meets and online.
• To attend/volunteer and help at Joy and Joe events.
• Write reviews/blogs on Joy and Joe wraps you get to test/holiday/own.
• To work alongside Becca and Bisi.

To apply, simply follow the following steps

• Repost our Instagram 2017 ambassador search photo using any of the free repost apps 
• Make yourself a video and tell us why we should pick you to be one of our Ambassadors! This is your time to brag and show off! Upload your video onto YouTube or Facebook and tag us, add your tags to your video title so that we can find you (#Iwant2rep4joyandjoe2017 #joyandjoebaby)

It might seem like a bit of a daunting role when you first read what we want the Ambassadors to do, but it really is very easy easy and will quickly become second nature to you.
For me personally I find that I do most of that list day on the chatter page (and i did before i started working for Joy and Joe!) and in the other groups i was in, i just never realized i did it!
There really are a great amount of benefits to being one of our Ambassadors. Feel free to ask our current ambassadors to see what they thought of it and how much they enjoyed it. The thing they have said the most is that they felt so included in everything that Joy and Joe produce and loved seeing behind the scenes.
You wont be left on your own to do everything. You’ll have our Ambassador Alumni available to help and coach you. I will be there with you every step of the way, to help, guide and advise you, and to relay information from Joy and Joe HQ. If you feel you can do more than what we are asking here then go for it! We want you to harness your enthusiasm and creativity and see what you can come up with! We’re also open to other suggestions and ideas to promote the Joy and Joe brand! so get your video camera out and make your video!
