Interesting facts about our 2014 limited edition woven wraps plus news about our collaboration with Wilde photography

Woven in the north of England by an internationally acclaimed British weaving expert based in the traditional heart of the UK textile industry. Some of the high end jacquard textiles from the weaving house where our baby wraps were woven are displayed and sold in UK craft galleries and more recently in the J. Artisan Gallery, Madison Avenue, New York

Our 2014 limited edition woven wrap slings consist of the following designs: Maxi-roses Vert, Maxi-roses Nature, Maxi-rose luxe, SMP rainbow, Yannamalai, Kente timbre, Traditional moorish timbre and the Celtic tilenna. Below is an interesting introduction to these woven wraps and a some news about recent collaboration with Wilde photography. These wraps will be sold via our website/facebook page using the draw system so watch out for release dates coming up soon. Prices of each wrap are listed underneath each design. Most of them are woven in quantities of 2 or 4 each and once its gone, its gone. Don't miss out! We have kept our prices reasonable to better everyone's chances of owning one. This is our most luxurious collection so far! 
While planning for this collection and sourcing the yarns, we wanted a talented photographer that will assist us in bringing out the true beauty of our collection. We are delighted to work with Rachel, owner of Wilde portrait photography. When we saw her stunning photography portfolio, we knew that our search was over. The best bit for us was her hardworking, friendly nature and her ability to work with real babywearing mums and dads to model our woven wrap collection. We have always been particular about not using professional models in our shoots. So the mums and dads you will see based on our ethos are day to day parents and active baby-wearers along with their adorable children.

MAXI-ROSE LUXE: A beautiful fusion of red cashmere 25%, merino-wool 25% and Egyptian cotton 50%. The grade of merino-wool in this blend has been specially selected to ensure that there is no scratchiness at all, 100% guaranteed. Medium (£105), Large (£110) and XL (£120) available

MAXI-ROSE VERT: This wrap has this grand, elegant and artistically abstract floral appearance. The large roses with the embossed twill texture gives it a grippy feel when worn and the plain weave ensures that the passes glide into place with ease. Large (£105)and XL (£110) sizes available

The Celtic tileanna is our 100% Egyptian cotton woven wrap with a dusky pink warp (which looks like peach under a different light intensity) and a light brown weft. Loomstate. Weave: double weave. Only two L (£110) and two XL (£120) available

The maxi-roses nature is our one- colour maxi-rose meaning that we chose the same colour for the warp and weft so it is a spectacular natty wrap with a pretty dash of swan lake pink ( a low toned pink). Only 2 wraps available in size L (£110)

The SMP rainbow is part of our limited edition and we have woven only 4 wraps in this colourway. We varied a combination of subtle colored wefts on a low toned white weft. The result is an alternating medley of cool colours with the SMP pattern in the background 2L (£125), 2XL (£135)

Traditional Moorish timbre : light blue and white weft and light black weft on a double plain weave so there are no odd sides to the woven wrap design. Inspired by the luxurious moorish and Moroccan architecture. L (£120), XL (£130)

Yanamalai is a wrap with a silhouette of elephants in an artistic arrangement that gives it an abstract appearance. woven with a double sateen weave with an almond white warp and an earth brown weft. L(£110), XL (£120)
